LGBT Wedding Venue: Kingswood Meeting House, Hollywood, Birmingham

Christian Bible open at Kingswood Meeting House

We’re so excited to welcome the Kingswood Meeting House onto the Pink Wedding Days website.

Kingswood Meeting House in Hollywood, Birmingham is part of the Unitarian Church, and you may remember that we've written about them before. It's one of the few religious groups to actively support same-sex marriage and LGBT relationships. Rev Antony Howe, Minister at Kingswood Meeting House, told a local newspaper:

He went on to say:

“Our beautiful church has always been a popular venue for weddings, and I am absolutely delighted that we will now be able to extend a welcome to same-sex couples, and that they will be able to legally marry in our church."

 ^ Isn’t that amazing?

But what makes this wedding venue so special isn't just its open-hearted approach to
same-sex relationships. It's what's on the inside, too, and this beautiful building (dating back to 1792) has one hundred seats, offers an organist, a florist and a minister or celebrant for ceremonies.

Not to mention that your wedding photographer will have an easy job, too, as the Kingswood Meeting House is set in beautiful grounds.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Birmingham area, then we’d highly recommend that you plan a visit.

And whether your getting married or not, why not attend a Sunday service?

The strain between religious and LGBT communities can be all too apparent, so it’s wonderful to see Unitarian congregations sharing their faith with everyone.
