LGBT Friendly Wedding Venues: Lords of the Manor in the Cotswolds

There are wedding venues and then there’s Lords of the Manor in the Cotswolds.  This 17th-century country house is set in 8 gorgeous acres of gardens and the grounds have a private lake. Beyond the house is the picturesque Cotswold countryside ensuring that your wedding is secluded, private and intimate no matter the number of invited guests.

Additionally, the venue can offer exclusive use.

Lords of the Manor has three ceremony and reception venue spaces to choose from with the additional option of a marquee.  The venue offers a range of packages but it is also eager to cater for couples wishing for a bespoke approach to their big day.

We have to say that we love the sound of the picnic wedding breakfast. Imagine sitting on blankets with your guests whilst enjoying the excellent food with drinks flowing, good conversation and making memories to the sound of babbling water and birdsong. It's a real treat for everyone.

BUT ultimately whatever season you choose to get married in, whatever the weather is doing outside, you’ll be in good hands at Lords of the Manor. And this truly stunning venue can’t wait to host your wedding.  So be sure to book your show-around today.

Here’s what the venue has to say in its own words:
"There are picture opportunities at almost every turn. The Hotel is fully licensed to hold civil and partnership ceremonies in a choice of idyllic settings, the Garden Room, which overlooks the beautiful walled garden or The Conservatory, a room flooded with sunlight.
There are many wedding venues in the Cotswolds, but Lords of the Manor is the only Gloucestershire Cotswold wedding venue with a Michelin star. Wedding Breakfasts are sublime, whether you plan a small celebration or a larger lavish party.
Exclusive use is not essential, but highly recommended.  With just 26 rooms, the Lords atmosphere is intimate and memorable.Your wedding is, naturally, one of the most important days of your life and so our General Manager will personally oversee the co-ordination of your event and be your main point of contact to ensure that the day exceeds your expectations.
As a secluded Country House hotel, Lords of the Manor is one of the most highly sought-after luxury wedding venues in the Cotswolds. It’s a special place. Our eight acres of private gardens and impressive lawns all set against the backdrop of a historic honey-coloured manor house combine to make Lords a naturally splendid gathering point.
Please see our wedding brochure for an idea of what it would be like to hold an event at Lords of the Manor. We hope that this information is helpful, but ideas vary greatly, so we find that discussing your requirements in person allows us to give you the most relevant information and provide a good initial estimate."

You'll find everything you need to know about this gorgeous wedding venue on the Lords of the Manor website.
