LGBTQ Friendly Wedding Venues: Grove House, Roehampton
Grove House in Roehampton, South-West London, is a Grade II listed Georgian mansion. Near the gorgeous Richmond Park and close to Putney, this beautiful white wedding venue overlooks a lake and boasts many original features giving the venue a real sense of character and charm.
Chandeliers, ornate ceilings and fireplaces with excellent views over Richmond Park, Grove House is a wedding venue for all seasons.
Its portrait room can host up to 150 guests for the ceremony, or there’s The Terrace Room, overlooking the terrace, for up to 60 guests. Couples have the choice to have their ceremony outside on the house’s lawn, too.
150 guests can be accommodated for the wedding breakfast with an additional 50 guests for the evening.
Rose gardens, a lily pond, a lake and 15 acres of parkland make this venue as beautiful on the outside as on the inside. It’s a photographers dream, and we’d certainly recommend that you take a peek at the gallery on Grove House's wedding website; the photography will give you a better sense of how stunning this venue is and allow you to envision your own big day. You’ll also find a number of testimonials from couples who booked their wedding day at Grove House.
Couples have the option of a marquee and the hotel has an outdoor licence. Each wedding is given exclusive use, so there’s no sharing the spotlight with anyone else and the building isn’t open to the public. This space is yours and yours alone to share with your partner, closest friends and family.
If you've got married at Grove House, then we'd love to hear about it.
