Gilwell Park Wedding Venue: Show in November

Gilwell Park in Chingford, Essex, is hosting a wedding show on November 3rd 2019 between 11am and 3pm.  Visitors can enjoy a glass of bubbly prosecco as they meet the local suppliers and service providers exhibiting at this gorgeous venue.

Sitting on the border of Essex and London, Gilwell Park is a beautiful rural retreat but with excellent national and international transport links nearby.  Chingford station, for example, is only minutes away!

And when we say rural, we’re not kidding.  It’s surrounded by 108 acres of countryside.

What Makes Gilwell Park a Great Wedding Venue?

At the heart of the Gilwell Estate is the gorgeous white house which, dating back to 1754, is a Grade II listed property.

This isn’t a cookie-cutter wedding venue.  Gilwell Park offers a good range of options to couples but without being overwhelming.  Few venues are so flexible with catering, decoration, ceremony and reception space, and guest numbers. You’ll be well accommodated by the fantastic team dedicated to giving you the wedding day you’ve dreamt of.

With a seating capacity of up to 180 guests for the wedding breakfast and up to 250 for the evening, there’s something for weddings of all sizes.  We especially love, too, the list of recommended external caterers as these include local Greek and Asian cuisines, too.

A wedding suite is available to the happy couple and is complimentary.  Other guests can make use of the 40 boutique bedrooms with a full English or continental breakfast included in the price.

There’s something else that we love, too.  Gilwell Park is home to the worldwide Scout movement and all profits go into helping to fund this superb organisation.

But don’t just take our word for it.  Make sure you take a peek during the wedding show on November 3rd.

Entry is FREE but to register for the event just follow the link below.

Can’t make the date?  You can contact the venue to organise a private viewing. To find out more about weddings at Gilwell Park, visit the Pink Wedding Days website
