London Live to Broadcast 2-hour Live Special from London Pride 2016

Tuesday 31st May 2016, London Live, the capital’s TV channel is delighted to announce that it will once again be broadcasting a two-hour special live show from London Pride 2016 festival.

On Saturday 25th June from 4pm, Live from London: London Pride 2016 will be live from Trafalgar square where thousands will be celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender culture and communities.

The programme will feature unprecedented interview access with celebrities taking part and those participating in the parade.  

The show will also address key issues affecting gay and transgender communities with pre-recorded features and viewers will hear personal stories from those attending the event.  

Londoners will also be able to keep up to date with the latest guide to the capital's Pride after-parties and follow up events.



This year’s broadcast will be sponsored by Liberty London department store and will include a ten-second sponsored indent on the front and back of the programme including the top and tail of every ad break.

London Pride 2016 campaign is called #nofilter it celebrates the spirit of Pride and it aims to inspire more people to come out as who they are. It invites London's LGBT+ community and straight allies to stand together to celebrate and work for the extension of the freedom for people everywhere to live with #nofilter. 

The campaign is based on themes suggested by the community in an open survey in the autumn of 2015.
