Confetti inspiration to brighten your wedding day

Confetti is so much more than just cheap pieces of paper in a carton from a card shop. These flower petals are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for any summer wedding.

Thanks to Shropshire Petals for sharing this post with us.

The British summer is not what it used to be, but even if its miserable and cloudy on your special day, you can always rely on confetti to brighten it up!

The confetti photo is guaranteed to be one of your favourites from your wedding day as it is the one where you will be natural and not posing for the photo.  Make a real statement with your confetti photo by choosing brightly coloured summer inspired confetti.

Shropshire Petals  share their top 5 mixes for this season.

August Mix of the Month

Shropshire Petals have a special confetti mix every month to show just how creative and unique you can make your confetti.

Using their pick and mix tool, you can select different colours and petal types to make your personalised confetti mix.

Their August Mix of the Month is a stunning combination of ivory, pink and orange.  This is made up from Icing Sugar, Raspberry Fool, Ginger Snap and Cerise.

Sunshine Kisses

The brighter your confetti the more it will stand out in your photos.  However, if you don’t want too much colour but still want the brightness, a mixture of ivory and yellow is perfect.

This mix will be subtle enough not to impose on your photos but bright enough to create the impact you are looking for.

Purple is the new pink

Purple has been a popular colour choice for weddings for a few years now, as much as pink, if not more.

This gorgeous mix will suit a purple or pink themed wedding with its pale pink boldly standing out amongst the purple rose petals and pale blue delphiniums.

This has been made using Candy Floss, Frosted Blue and Parma Violet.

Get creative

The world is your oyster with the amount of colours to choose from.  Why not get creative and mix several colours together.

This mix has been made up of Sunshine Kisses, Candy Floss and Frosted Blue with some mixed larger petals added in, which include Flamingo Pink, Delilah, Wisteria, Golden Slumber, Duck Egg and Buttermilk

Bold, bright and beautiful!

Mellow yellow

To really make your confetti stand out; choose a mix with bright colours with a touch of darkness such as yellows and blacks.  This stunning blend of Tuxedo, Honey’B and Buttermilk is sure to wow on your confetti photos.

Whatever the weather, using bright natural petal confetti is the key to enhancing your confetti moment and brightening you wedding day.

Enjoy your confetti moment!
